Pool Party Las Vegas Calendar

The Best Beach Clubs on the Las Vegas Strip. Beat the desert heat at one of the famous beach clubs in Las Vegas! This list has the hottest pool parties on the Vegas strip. Don’t miss out on the daytime fun! Vegas pool season typically runs from March through October. The schedule for each venue varies, but almost all are open on Friday and Saturday with extended hours on holiday weekends. Daylight Beach Club and Encore Beach Club even host special nighttime pool parties on select nights.

When COVID-19 was declared a pandemic in March, the state of Nevada shutdown pool parties immediately.

Although they’re far from what they used to be, Vegas pool parties are back in action in modified form.

Here’s what you should if you’re looking to head to the Las Vegas Strip this summer.

Coronavirus safety at the pool this summer

According to CDC guidance, there is no evidence that the virus can spread directly to humans from water in pools, hot tubs or spas, or water in play areas.

Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection of all areas should kill the virus that causes COVID-19. This may be in the form of chlorine or bromine.

That said, you still won’t find the big crowds, marquee music acts, or dance floors that once defined a summer pool party.

Now, most pool party club pools have updated their operations to a lounge-like setting.

They’re promoting local DJs, physical distancing, required reservations due to limited space, and hand sanitizing stations.

The Nevada governor’s June 24 order also limits pool occupancy to a 50 percent capacity, so you won’t be overwhelmed by people. You’ll also need to have a mask on hand. While you won’t need it when swimming, you should still have it when arriving to and from the pool venue.

Where can I find the main pool parties in Las Vegas summer 2020?

1. Wet Republic Ultra Pool – MGM Grand

Wet Republic, an MGM resort partner, has resumed operations on the Las Vegas Strip.

It is now accepting reservations for its bungalows, deluxe cabanas, and daybeds with bottle service packages.

The venue was also recently renovated, so there are two new plunge pools spanning nearly 100 feet in length with 10 upgraded cabanas along with 12 modernized bungalows.

The venue has also implemented additional health and sanitization measures to ensure that guests who visit will remain safe. Employees will utilize face masks and guests are encouraged to do so as well (face coverings are available upon request).

Six feet distance will be enforced at the venue.

There will also be hand sanitizing stations available for all.

Wet Republic is open Thursdays through Sunday and reservations can be made by emailing [email protected] or calling (702) 891-3563.

2. Encore Beach Pool (EBC Pool)

EBC Pool is a temperature-controlled pool and whirlpool spa surrounded by daybeds and private cabanas for you to relax. Each area is attended by a team member who can help you with food and beverage orders.

If you choose to reserve a private cabana, you’ll also have a refrigerator, plasma-screen TV, misting system, fan, and other amenities. All in attendance must be over the age of 21.

EBC will be open Friday through Sundays from 11 AM until close. Call (702) 770-7300 for a reservation.

3. The Pool at Marquee

This is the Marquee day club space at the Cosmopolitan.

It describes itself as a vibrant beach club scene hosted by the most influential DJs. There are eight Grand Cabanas that each have their own private spas and infinity plunge pools.

Be sure to dress the part in your best pool attire. No basketball shorts, team jerseys, baseball caps, robes, or tank tops are permitted at the Marquee Pool.

For safety reasons, the pool is currently capped at 50 percent capacity (approximately 900 out of 1,800). Instead of a dance floor, there are physically distanced tables and daybeds. The pool also requires reservations, so lines are prevented. The best way to describe it? A fabulous Las Vegas resort experience with an energetic atmosphere.

The Pool at the Marquee is open from 11 AM to sunset from Friday through Sunday.

4. Liquid Pool Lounge – ARIA

The premier pool experience awaits you. You can dip your toes in the water as you sip refreshing cocktails and taste delicious appetizers.

There are eight secluded cabanas at Liquid Pool along with dozens of day beds.

Liquid Pool is currently working under the guidance of public health experts that allows them to serve the community in a safe and socially distanced manner. There will be hand sanitizing stations and everyone at the venue will be asked to wear a face covering. Physical distancing will also be enforced.

Liquid Pool is open Thursdays through Sunday and reservations can be made by emailing [email protected] or calling (702) 891-3563.

5. Daylight Vegas – Mandalay Bay

This 4,400 square-foot main pool has two additional private pools for cabana guests along with tableside service on the pool level. You’ll get a luxurious and entertaining pool experience. You’ll feel like you’re at the beach right up until you have hand-crafted cocktails and delicious bites delivered to you.

As a precaution due to COVID-19, overall occupancy has been reduced to allow guests and employees to practice social distancing. Additionally, all employees will have their temperatures checked before entering the venue and reporting to work.

Daylight Vegas has revised the layout to allow for social distancing.

Hand sanitizing stations are widely available throughout the venue, and everyone present is required to wear face coverings. Finally, digital menus and touchless ordering will be available.

Daylight Vegas is open Thursday through Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM.

It’s a pool party that rivals Vegas’ hottest day clubs, so if you’ve been missing a social atmosphere during your quarantine, this is the place to go.

Go Pool has taken the current health situation seriously.

They have limited the capacity they are welcoming at this time. Thus, entry may be delayed or unavailable. The best way to guarantee entry is to make a reservation in advance.

Vegas pool parties have shape-shifted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, as Nevada reopens, the clubs are working hard to ensure that your summer is full of pool-related fun.

Peek Into Pre Covid Vegas Pool Parties

Vegas Pool Parties shouldn’t be confused with the standard hotel pools as they charge an entry fee, sometimes up to $50 (especially for guys). There is not much sitting, relaxing or swimming, but rather dancing, partying and plenty of boozing.

Think of a pool party as a nightclub during the day with water and minimal clothing.

These type of pool parties hopefully will be back in 2020.

Most parties are on weekends, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (weather permitting), but some pools are open weekdays, with a much more relaxed atmosphere.

Getting into a day club can be quite the experience with long lines and wait times of a couple hours or more! Know that a group of guys might have to wait longer since clubs like these gear to having a greater ratio of women to men.

Best Las Vegas Pool Parties Prior to Coronavirus early 2020

There are several epic pool parties in Las Vegas, but tourists should do some advanced research to know which venue will best meet their expectations.

Each day club offers a different atmosphere, creating a unique experience for partiers. The following dayclub list describes what you can expect at the top pool parties, highlighting the best features of each club.

Know that each of the parties listed are premier day clubs located on the Vegas Strip and is sure to provide visitors with an out of this world Vegas pool party experience:

Wet Republic Pool Party

Wet Republic at MGM Grand hotel is the top pool party to be at on Saturdays and arguably the #1 or #2 day club overall. It has a pretty good sized pool, which can get pretty wild later in the afternoon.

Tip: Security checks are very strict and they even make sure put eye drops in your eye to make sure you are not bringing something else inside. So dress in your pool attire and leave everything else behind.

The club includes several VIP private dipping pools, all of which are saltwater. The club offers a vast, open-air bar/lounge, yet despite its size, long lines for drinks can be expected. Saturdays are very busy here.

To reserve these are not cheap and neither are the drinks.

Wet Republic has some of the biggest named resident DJs such as Calvin Harris, Zedd, and Tiesto.

Encore Beach Club – Photo Credit: EBC Instagram @encorebeachclub

Encore Beach Club

Encore Beach Club is located at the Encore Resort and known as one of the “upper-scale” pool parties. While the dayclub features a large venue and multiple pools, securing even the smallest of VIP spot will cost close to $1,000 during the busiest days.

This venue is also known to attract celebs. Sundays are their most popular days.

Overall Encore beach club is the wildest and best pool party with some of the best-named DJ hosting it on the Weekends including David Guetta and The Chainsmokers.

Liquid Pool Party

Liquid, located at the Aria hotel, cracks the top 5 as one of the more chilled pool parties in Vegas. Liquid’s best day is Thursday, which is the best pool party to be at on that day.

Liquid features a variety of music including top 40, hip-hop, and dance. It is slightly on the smaller side compared to a few of the other pool parties but does offer 8 cabanas, 35 daybeds, and 85 chaise lounges. Price minimums for cabanas and daybeds you will find cheaper the other parties like EBC and Wet Republic.

Tip: Liquid is one of the few poll parties where you can reserve lounge seats for around $100 instead of having to reserve more expensive daybeds and cabanas.

Why you might like it over other parties – not as big, not overcrowded, and a more relaxed vibe but still fun crowd.

Drai’s Beach Club

Drai’s Beach Club offers a party with a great view of the Strip. Located on the rooftop of the Cromwell, patrons can expect great music, an 11-story high view of the Las Vegas Strip, and luxurious party environment.

Marquee Dayclub

Located at the Cosmopolitan, this day club advertises their pool parties as “the best in Las Vegas.” Featuring two pools, multiple bar areas and top resident DJs, Marquee is sure to provide guests with a great experience.

The pool is not as popular as it once was a few years ago, but it still packs in the crowds, especially on Saturday.

Tao Beach at Venetian – Photo Credit Instagram @taolasvegas

Tao Beach

Tao beach, located in the Venetian, is one of the better pool parties on the strip. Although it is a smaller venue, things can get really wild and crazy here. It features food catered from Tao Bistro, several VIP cabanas and daybeds, as well as a variety of music.

Tip: You can leave Tao beach and cool off in one of the other pools and then re-enter and then come back to the craziness.

Tao Beach occasionally features big named DJs and you can reserve lounge chairs for as little as $50-$100 per chair. The cabanas are actually more affordable than many of the other pool parties.

The major complaint with Tao Beach is the small “dirty” pool and the fact that it can get way too crowded.

Pool Party Day Club Music in Vegas

Top-billed DJs in EDM (Electronic Dance Music) often provide the soundtrack to these non stop parties. First time visitors should know that EDM/House is the music of choice at most pool parties.

Select dayclubs have “resident DJs,” meaning the DJs take up a weekly residency in Las Vegas and perform at the club on a regular basis. Below are some of the top resident artists at select dayclubs:

  • Wet Republic – Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, and Zedd
  • Marquee Dayclub/Tao Beach – Chuckie, W&W, Deorro, Cedric Gervais
  • Encore Beach Club – David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, Diplo, Alesso, DJ Snake, Kygo, Galantis and more
  • Daylight Beach – T-Pain, E-Rock, DJ Icon

Dress Code for Pool Parties

Guys should avoid wearing jeans, jerseys, or other non-pool attire. Some pools have a stricter dress code than others, but you’re safe wearing a swimsuit, sandals or flip-flops and a tank top or swimsuit cover-up.

Generally speaking, for proper pool party attire, dress as if you were going to the beach.

Vegas Pool Party Prices

Like most things Vegas, dayclubers should anticipate a major markup on goods and services. Plan to bring a significant amount of cash, credit cards for backup, and of course, ID. Know that you’ll likely spend more money than you had planned, as it’s easy to throw caution to the wind in this carefree fun under the sun environment.

Entry fees will vary depending on the day of the week and who is performing. In general, male guests can expect to pay $50 to get in. Female cover charge, on the other hand, is determined by your level of sexy, the hotter you look, the less you pay and may even grant you free entry.

As a general rule, men pay more to enter clubs than women, no such thing as gender equality here!

Day Club Drink Prices

Prices for drinks at a Vegas pool party are similar to what you’d expect at an upscale restaurant, bar, or nightclub in Vegas. A single beer will be close to $10, whereas specialty cocktails could cost you $25 or more.

Bottle prices usually start around $400 and specially drink pitchers around $100.

Vegas Pool party Tip – Partygoers should bring as few possessions as possible to the pool and know that any bag you take may be subject to search. Consider how to keep your cash and credit cards safe and dry—think waterproof armband, pouch, wristlet, etc.

You’ll also want to keep track of your other belongings, like your shoes…but then again, going home barefoot may be well worth an epic Vegas memory.

How To Get Into A Pool Party Before COVID-19

There are several options to get into a pool party, some better and cheaper than others.

Pay Cover: As mentioned above, guests (especially males) can expect to wait in line and pay a cover charge at day clubs.

Presale Tickets: Avoid the hassle and get fast entry with presale pool party tickets. You can see ticket listings above and avoid the long waits and hassels. You can also check out the full Vegas DJ Schedules for tickets to nightclubs, lounges, and dayclubs.

Guestlist: Some pool parties offer guestlist access. This is basically only for women and perhaps couples. You can contact a club host and see if you can get added to a guest list which may speed up your time in the line and avoid entry altogether.

VIP Entry/Bottle Service: VIP access is obviously the most expensive but could end up being cost-effective as well for larger groups of guys.

Guarantee entry to a pool party by purchasing a VIP package. This option is similar to bottle service at a nightclub, where a set minimum spend will grant you seating with table service, bottles and mixers, except at a dayclub food can be counted toward your minimum as well.

VIP options such as a daybed or cabana is highly recommended for a group of guys that wants to avoid cover, long wait times, and drink a fair amount of liquor. It is also hard not to have a great time with this option!

VIP service minimums vary based on demand such as holiday weekends or popular DJs performing. Guests can anticipate a minimum charge of around $1,000 for a daybed and up to $5000 for a cabana on a busy weekend. This package may be the only way to go if you plan to attend with a large group of guys.

While it may sound pricey and $1,000 of liquor (around 2 bottles) may not go far if your group gets too big, it’s well worth the cost to ensure entry, a primo location near the pool, and a greater chance of getting attention from the ladies.

You can read our las vegas bottle service guide for a more in-depth look at the breakdown in costs for Bottle services and comparison to paying cover charge only.

Typical Vegas Pool Party Season & Opening Dates

Pool parties generally start the first week of March, catering to the masses of college students coming to Las Vegas for their respective spring breaks. They will continue to operate on select days of the week through late September or early October, when summer temps begin to fall and Vegas starts wrapping up tourist season.

Best Pool Party Las Vegas

A majority of the dayclubs will host an official grand opening party to kick-off pool party season, sometimes a few weeks to a month after the pool parties have actually begun. To make sure your preferred pool party has formally opened for the season, check out our article on official vegas pool opening dates.

Be mindful of holiday weekends when attending pool parties. Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends draw larger crowds that create extra-long lines and wait-times, which diminish your odds of getting in.

Club-goers looking for big crowds and rowdy atmospheres will enjoy these weekends but should plan on paying a premium for cover charge or VIP service.

What About Non Day Club Hotel Pools?

Mgm Las Vegas Pool Party

Las Vegas tourists looking for a more relaxed or family atmosphere should visit a resort-style pool(s) as opposed to a pool party or day club.

Several of the major Las Vegas Strip resorts feature a dayclub and a hotel pool in separate areas. Vegas has some of the best hotel pools in the country, many of which offer a family-friendly pool atmosphere as well.
